Papam Habemus?
Quite a few Bishops & Catholic personalities have voiced annoyance and ‘disgust’ at an AI generated image of Donald Trump as pope, posted by the man himself.
However, one wonders, where were all these fly-by-night ‘bastions of Catholicism’ during or after Pope Francis did the following:
- Allowed communion for adulterers?
- Showed no ‘mercy’ and revoked the Traditional Latin Mass but allowed a Mayan rite mass to be instituted?
- Allowed ‘blessings” for same sex couples?
- Allowed the worship of a pagan idol (Pachamama) in the Vatican?
- Said he hoped Hell was empty?
- Changed Catholic teaching on the death penalty?
- Coerced Catholics in the Vatican to get covid vaccinations against their conscience?
- Installed his perverse and deviant friends as bishops & cardinals, while at the same time, getting rid of conservative bishops and cardinals whom he didn’t like (Cardinal Victor ‘Heal me with your mouth‘ Fernandez replacing Cardinal Raymond Burke)
- Took no action against abusive clergy like McCarrick & Rupnik, until the proverbial defecation hit the ceiling?
- Said all religions are the same path to God?
One also wonders why the need for such brouhaha by Vaticanistas when Pope Francis himself met with a few stand-up comedians some time back while he was alive? What about the jokes made by these ’eminent’ comedians that trashed Catholicism in general over the years? Why wasn’t any flags raised then as well by those complaining now?
The immensely popular Christian satire site, The Babylon Bee, posted the below headline as part of their current affairs satire headline after Pope Francis’s demise:
“Trump’s Papacy may be even more Catholic than Francis’s”
The noble Knights Templar crusaders of Catholicism, who are now shouting from the rooftops about the insensitivity of the AI image, perhaps do not realize the truth contained in such satire. Of course, Donald Trump is never going to be Pope; perhaps never intended it in that vein as well. However, the virtuous Catholic paladins fail to understand why Protestants should produce such satire in the first place, the answer to which is very simple; The Francis Pontificate has failed it’s own Catholic RCA program in ‘flying colours’ (the colours of the LGBT rainbow flag, that is). And that is plain to see even to the most reasonably and averagely intelligent Protestant. Never mind the fact that Protestants are always at odds with anything remotely Papal and Catholic. The differentiating aspect to consider here is the fact that (1) the aspects of the Francis papacy being joked about, also have given good Catholics many a sleepless night as well. and (2) the jokes by Protestants this time around is not regarding the fundamental elements of Catholicism such as Marian doctrines, the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist, Prayers to Saints, the primacy of Peter and the other usual humdrum, been-there-done-that ‘dialogue’ between Catholics and their separated brethren. The joke is about how confused even the Protestants were about the intent of the Francis papacy, especially in context with liberal ideologies and the papal association with the woke brigade since the last 12 to 13 years; one of the hallmarks being the face-off between Francis and Donald Trump on the USAID saga, something which I previously wrote about.
Those who are offended, seem to have this virtuous notion that Pope Francis had just died, or that this was a ‘sensitive’ time for the church, and hence such seemingly immature innuendos should have been refrained from. However, such informal posts from the President of the United States, said a lot, not about Catholicism as such; but about the overall state of abject liberalism and wokeism that the Francis papacy had ‘actively participated’ in, and which had probably commenced much before or during the reign of Pope Benedict XVI, who probably was tormented & coerced by the liberal cardinals and bishops in the Roman Curia, such as Cardinal Martini of the Saint Gallen group. There is news doing the rounds of the Obama-Biden machinery, in conjunction with a bunch of power hungry liberal Cardinals and Bishops, having a hand in the ouster or resignation of Pope Benedict XVI, and the installation of ‘one of their own boys’, in the shape and form of Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio, as Pope. How far this is proven to be true, remains to be seen. However, the point is that Pope Francis and his deep-state/church network were responsible for the collapse of common-sensical culture, ethics, and morality, and the rise of one of the worst attempts in recent times to transgress & trample the basic values of human civilization, through a shady and controlled freemasonic, socialist machinery, poised to achieve global control among the elites. That much, there is no denying.
May Mary our Mother pray for the Church, especially in this month which is dedicated to her, and the anniversary of the Fatima Apparitions which commenced on the 13th May, 1917. May, God in His grace & mercy honour our Mother, by blessing us with a worthy successor of St. Peter.
